* Led Central to 13 district championships, six regional championships and three state championships (2008, 2011, 2015).
* Central advanced to 18 straight district tournaments from 1994-2011 under Miller.
* Led East Canton to 2019 IVC North championship, the program's first league title of any kind since 1968 Senate League championship.
* 2006 inductee to Ohio High School Baseball Coaches Association Hall of Fame.
* 2023 inductee to National High School Baseball Coaches Association Hall of Fame.
* 2011 American Baseball Coaches Association Division III District 4 Coach of the Year.
* 2011 National High School Baseball Coaches Association Upper Midwest Region 4 Coach of the Year.
* 2016 OHSAA Sportsmanship, Ethics and Integrity Award.
* 790 career coaching wins rank third in Ohio high school baseball history according to unofficial OHSAA records.
