Graduated from Coldwater High School in 1987 where I

played baseball, basketball and football. 

Won State Baseball Championship in 1987. 

Got my BS from BGSU in 1992.  Masters degree from Marygrove College in 1999. 

Lettered in baseball at BG '88-'91. Broke school doubles record at BG in a season  in '91. 

Jv coach at Vandalia-Butler in '93 n '94. 

Varsity coach at Butler '95-present.   621-225 overall record.  331-53 league record.  22 league titles. 20 sectional titles. 11 district titles. 1 regional title. 

State final four un 2000. 

Miami Valley Coaches Association Hall of Fame member. 

Over 100 players have gone on to play collegiately. Four have played professionally. 

I want to thank all the players who have played for us and all the coaches who have given their time and effort to our program. These are some of my closest friends.  I also want to thank all of the coaches who coached me as they have truly influenced my life. Thank you to my family and especially my wife Melissa who has been a great supporter of mine for many years.  Trent and Melissa are the proud parents of three kids, Damon, 26, Mia, 23, and Koby, 16.
